Mid-Century Modern on the Silver Screen

It may have come to your attention that Home Girl is something of a fan of mid-century modernism.

It seems so are filmmakers Michael Bernard and Gavin Froome, for they have created a documentary, Coast Modern, which covers three generations of modern architecture on the West Coast.

This film interviews architects such as Henrik Bull and Dion Neutra as well as their patrons, and asks “has modernism’s time finally come — or did it ever really go away?”

See a trailer for the film here and read the blog here.
