Tipster Joe confirms what we reported six days ago, that Green Day vocalist Billy Joe Armstrong has found a buyer for his $4.85 million “tasteful” home in upper Rockridge (above).
“I drove by and there is a sale pending sign,” Joe writes. “Considering this quick sale and the quick sale of the $6.5m house in Piedmont the upper end looks relatively healthy.”
We’re not sure which Piedmont home is being referred to here, but in any case we wouldn’t rush to quite such a conclusion. There are always going to be exceptions to the rule, particularly when money is no object (Armstrong’s buyer is rumored to be profering cash only).
Wow. If only money were no object for more of us…
